Vent Panels

Explosion vent panels (or rupture panels) are relief membranes that open at a predetermined pressure to safely release the pressure generated by a dust or gas deflagration inside equipment. They protect silos, filters, cyclones, dryers and elevators, preventing the vessel from bursting and limiting the reduced explosion pressure (Pred) to a safe value. At Tecnovent we supply flat and domed vent panels, with or without diverter, and flameless venting systems, certified to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and EN 14797. We size the vent area according to volume, Kst and vessel strength in line with EN 14491.
