Tecnovent spark detection and extinguishing system designed to protect industrial processes (bag filters, conveyors and elevators, mills, dryers, pellet presses, etc.) by detecting ignition sources —sparks, hot particles, embers— and automatically extinguishing them with a small amount of water (~5 l per event) before they reach the protected equipment. The system is built around the TCVR18Z control panel (up to 18 protection zones, 54 spark detectors and 6 pressure booster stations), TCV300EX spark detectors (180° field of view, VIS/NIR/IR, AISI 316L stainless steel, IP65) and TCVMR200EX (48 × 48 × 48 mm for narrow ducts), TCAS181/TCAS182 extinguishing units for ducts up to 1,600 mm in diameter and air-flow speeds up to 40 m/s, and TCRFD-3000X (3IR) or TCRFD-2000X (UV/IR) flame detectors. It supports water, water mist, CO₂, aerosols, abort gates and diverters; integrates fan overheat detection; and is compliant with NFPA 664 recommendations.
