Floating Roofs

Floating roofs are covers that float on the surface of the liquid stored in tanks, reducing the vapour space and with it evaporation losses, fire risk and volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. By rising and falling with the product level, they minimise the flammable atmosphere and improve environmental compliance in the storage of hydrocarbons and solvents. At Tecnovent we supply external carbon-steel floating roofs and internal floating roofs (pontoon, full-contact and cable-suspended) with their rim seals, certified to API 650.
