The StorageTech vent cap is installed on low-pressure atmospheric storage tanks to meet free breathing requirements and prevent internal pressure build-up. The threaded construction allows the vent cap to be installed directly onto the tank, eliminating the need for a flanged connection. The main components of the vent cap are a housing, a cover, and a screen. The vent cap is equipped with a fixed metal air cover. The cover and bird screen are supplied as standard. The cover protects the vent and prevents dust, wind, rain, insects, or other external influences from entering and damaging the product. It requires no routine maintenance to ensure continuous and effective operation. It increases system safety by rapidly relieving excess pressure.
