The Storagetech Model 102 pressure and vacuum relief valve with integrated end-of-line flame arrester provides complete peace of mind for storage tank operators. Model 102 ensures protection against overpressure damage, implosion due to vacuum conditions, and prevents any external flame from entering the tank. In the closed position, the pressure relief pallet and diaphragm assembly are held tightly against a seal to prevent vapor loss to the atmosphere. As the internal tank pressure increases due to product filling and vapor generation, and when the unit set pressure is reached, the diaphragm opens and releases gas to the atmosphere. The opening set point can be selected between 1 and 28.1 in. W.C. (2.5 and 70 mbar), and the valve will reclose when the tank returns to a safe pressure.
